Designing a library of illustrations around themes of modern life
Overview:
Money, sport, emotion, fashion: these are everyday topics in our modern lives, and are often visualised online using stock imagery. Unsplash commissioned Flying Object to create exclusive vector illustrations for their new subscription library, Unsplash+, which previously consisted only of photos and 3D renders.
The objective was to create high quality imagery with a clear concept, well-executed composition, design or narrative element.
Me along with two other memebers of the Flying Object team were tasked with creating our own individual set of illustrations for the project.

I was tasked with creating a series of illustrations covering the topics of sports, finance and economics. To make these subjects more engaging and enjoyable, I applied some wit and humor to some of the scenarios I depcited.
My goal was to produce high-quality, editorial-style illustrations that people would find charming, appealing and useful enough to download.
